How to Claim
New Mexico has the shortest claim period of any participating state, as you only have 90 days to come forward from the date of a draw. Once this deadline has passed, you will miss out on your prize and will not be able to claim it elsewhere. If you have won a prize, you should sign the back of your ticket and follow the steps below, depending on the value of your award.
Prizes up to $600 – You can claim your winnings from any licensed retailer or by submitting a claim by mail.
Prizes between $601 and $99,999 – You must fill out a claim form for any prize of this value. You can either mail in your claim or visit the New Mexico Lottery headquarters in Albuquerque. The address of the headquarters is shown below:
New Mexico Lottery Headquarters

Prizes of $100,000 and above - For an award of $100,000 or more, you must claim your prize in person from the lottery headquarters in Albuquerque. If you win the jackpot, you have to decide within 60 days of coming forward whether you want to take the cash or the annuity. If you do not make a decision in this time, you will automatically receive the annuity of 30 payments over 29 years.
Claiming prizes by mail – You can claim prizes of up to $99,999 by mailing your winning ticket to the New Mexico Lottery, P.O. Box 93190, Albuquerque, NM 87199-3190. You will need to complete a claim form if you have won more than $600.
